The original border wait time archive project captured data coming from the B.C. Ministry of Transportation and WA State Department of Transportation advanced traveler information systems and presented the data in an online archive accessible to the public.
New Cascade Gateway Border Data Warehouse Project
Location
The Cascade Gateway Border Data Warehouse incorporates data from the four ports-of-entry between the Lower Mainland, BC and Whatcom County, WA.
Results
The project developed a schema-based standard for organizing the traffic data coming in from two systems, compiled a GPS inventory of state and provincial ATIS system components, and developed an online archive accessible at: CascadeGatewayData.com.
